Helppppppppppp!My 2 anti virus programs found Downloader.trojans and some exploit files.I followed the instructions for removal,scanning in Safe Mode but the registry will not identify the files and the Norton still tells me that the files are infected.I also think I deleted some O/S files by mistake and my computer is really doing weird things.I reinstalled XP thinking that would replace any missing files but that files but it didn't help.I can even use System Restore because it woun't allow me to go any farther back than when the virus' occured.I have tried several diffent Freeware/Trial program ie.Recover my Files,System Mechanic but no success so far.Can anyone help???

download Avast http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
turn off System restore ( Control Panel | System)
boot to safe do the scan with Avast
reboot turn system restore back on
do Ad / spyware scans using Adaware SE http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html
P.S. most virus keep files in the restore file to get rid of them you must turn restore off then on again
also clean all the temps and cookies using ccrapcleaner
