Good afternoon all !

Be like the Mexicans - siesta time during the hot time of day ... if only we could.

The condo management just came around and told us to take out our air conditioner for Friday morning so that they can install new windows - 1 1/2 day job to finish before we can put it back in. :wwh:

When they get there to do the windows, just ask them to try and do that one as fast as they can so you can get your A/C back in and running again ;)
It's amazing what a couple beers can get ya :D

OMG, it's 34.9C here at home.

I was at Sunnybrook Hospital this afternoon and it was 38C according to the reading from the car. 100 degrees fahrenheit

I'm melted.

Got the beers, but caulking, etc., has to dry and set before I can put the weight of the AC back on it :(

Hence the reason to ask when they get there to do that one first.... if it's one of the last ones done you'll have to wait that much longer before reinstalling the unit ;)

Rig it to the threshold of your patio door. :)

Rig it to the threshold of your patio door. :)

True. Sit it on the floor, get a tarp to seal the rest of the door way (clear plastic if you want to see out).

Oh, the creative minds at work LOL. AC is on top floor, patio door on main floor. Too heavy to move down and back up again ... will suffer for awhile. Work in the basement (office), so we'll sleep in the basement bedroom - naturally cool down there anyway, and they are not doing the basement window.

Typical user.

Doesn't define the problem properly. :p
