Problems Connecting To Internet

Ok I just installed Suse Linux 10.0 on my other computer. Now im logging in as Root. I have been playing around with the different settings etc but cant seem to get on the net.

Im just wondering if anybody could tell me where to go and how to do it. Im pretty bad at linux I know a few things, but almsot nothing just learning now.

By the way im using a Linksys Router to share my DSL internet.

I think i can, I was able to go over the network and look at the files on my other computer.
