1) You're running an old version of HighjackThis. The newest version can be found here-->>http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

2) HighjackThis MUST BE run from it's own folder. A good example is C:\HJT. Do not run HighjackThis from the desktop, temporary folder (including MyDocuments) as proper backups are not saved incase they are needed later.

3) You have a trojan on the system. Run an online virus scan first.

a) Download and run CWShredder.
b) Click the "Check for Update" button and download any update found.
c) Click the "Fix" button to run it. It will scan for and delete any bad files found.

This program removes the Home Search Assistant.
a) Unzip all files in the .zip folder/file to a folder such as C:\Aboutbuster.
b) Run AboutBuster.exe, then click "OK".
c) Click "Update" and "Check for Update".
d) If there is a newer version click "Download Update" and wait while it downloads
e) Click "Start". Read the caution and click "OK".
The program should start scanning and removing bad files.
f) Save the log by clicking the "Save Log" button. Post a copy of the log in your new topic in the forum (see step 5 below).
g) Restart your computer.
h) Run AboutBuster again to ensure that the malware has been successfully removed.

Your log looks fine now. Only the CWShredder program was probably necessary as I will explain later. Ewido is an anti-trojan/malware program. It is worth keeping but the resident (running) part of the scanner will be deactivated after 14 days. You can still use it as an on demand scanner.

As to your question regarding, how do you determine what is malicious in the HJT log? The first things I look at are the running processes and the O4 - HKLM\..\Run: (auto run). This is a bit of experience and the use of www.google.ca . For example in the running processes was C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\inetinfo.exe was unfamiliar to me. Just type the last part only, inetinfo.exe and do a search. It will lead you lead you to pages stating it is a trojan in this case. I finally had to go further into the search to find the author was CoolWebSearch (CWS). The same search procedures apply to the 04 -HKLM\..\Run entries. As you analyse more of these logs the easier it gets a little easier. As to the R1 entries I didn't think you put tthp:/www.oneclicksearches.cam/ (edited for safety reasons) in there. Also you have to still be carefull when using HJT as there are few hiccups in the program. For example on the 023 entries it may say file missing for legitimate programs when it is actually not.
