Google Releases Toolbar for Firefox Browser

The advantage for Google is visibility. "They've gotten some real estate on the browser," Gary Price, editor of Search Engine Watch said. "By being one of the first ones to do that [with the IE toolbar] they were there and it's hard for people to take a look at anyone else. It reinforces the brand every time you open the browser."
Months after Yahoo (Nasdaq: YHOO) released a toolbar designed specifically for the Mozilla Firefox browser, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) has followed suit.
