I got into it this year too, on Space. It's surprisingly good and the humour is great. I've seen some of season 9 and although I wasn't thrilled with the first couple of episodes it picked up pace quickly and is well worth watching.

Apparently the rest of season 9 starts up in January. Same for SGA and BSG

I've been watching SG1 since the begining, and not to forget SGA. Good shows and as previously mentioned, they have good humour to boot.:)

lol, watching it now ;)

I haven't actually seen the newer seasons. I've been watching all seasons, from 1, on DVD from the beginning after seeing all of Stargate Atlantis on the Rogers on demand box and loving it.

And for those who don't know, show is based on the movie which you can probably still rent at the local video store. Series follows the movie theme pretty close.

I'm planning to play a lot of RavenShield on the new computer when it comes in. Had thought of making up a SGC map and form a SG-1 team with an A armpatch. Too bad can't design aliens to fight in it.

I would think that the movie would be also available on DVD. If the local rogers/blockbuster store didn't have it, ask them to search/request if other stores have it. Pulled out my copy to get info for you. The movie came out 1995. Kurt Russel plays Jack O'Neil. James Spader plays Daniel Jackson.
