Last Turs nite saw The Roadhammers @ The Horseshoe. Whew what a show and what a venue!!!! I know, not everyone's cup of tea. It's southern rock/trucker music. It's hard to believe for 18 bux a head they kicked us in the seat of the pants and sent us home half deaf. They played for 2 hours solid including encore(s). The "scene" at the show reminded me of Headstones concerts of days gone by (If anyone remembers them), good party band. Oh did I mention 5 dollar beers, reasonable!!!! When these guys swing back through ontario I highly recommend them!!

Their site is Here (http://www.theroadhammers.com)

Last nite we saw Keith Urban at Copps in Hamilton. The show was a touch on the pricey side at 50 bux but well worth the money. Packed house and 10 dollar beers ( grrrr.) Ah well, no where near as loud as the Roadhammes show but great sound there, very clear. Keith did a great job and played all the favorites and some great covers including aerosmith. Had a ball. We had not seen Keith since 3 years back when he was in town with brooks & dunn, toby keith and Montgomery Gentry and boy is his show polished and he's a kick butt guitarist!!!

Just thought I'd share some show reviews.

Our youngest dau. saw the Roadhammers last night here in London at Centennial Hall...she said by far one of the best concerts she's seen...and she's been to loads!

Our eldest was also in Hamilton last night working the Keith Urban concert...front of the stage...got some very good shots...I'll have her post some maybe.

Saw Keith back in Oct 2003 in Owen Sound, one of the best shows i've ever seen. Wante to see him Tuesday, had to work till 9 so no such luck. Also, there is a DVD video out of a full concert shot in high def. The concert was at the end of 2004/early 2005. About 2 hours or so. A great one, sound is amazing. Got it for $19 at Sunrise Records.
