I had heard so much about this program on this board but was just a bit nervous to try it. Used it on my P4 laptop last night and except that I had to put most of my bank numbers etc back in, I was impressed. Can't believe how much faster the laptop is running. Also ran it on an older Dell with Windows 98SE and it has sped it up quite a bit too. Does anyone use this on a regular basis like once a week, month etc. or just when you feel it is necessary?

Downloaded and ran program. Got rid of a lot of "C":) , up to including

cookies for this and other boards LOL.Guess i have to re-sign on to them.

Guess i should have been more carefull of what to clean out, but sifting through

over a thousand items seemed like a BIG chore. Now i have to pay for it by using

this sloooooow backup unit :mbx:

To solve the cookie login challenges, download and install RoboForm (http://www.roboform.com). Like any clean-up utility, you have to be careful of how you use it. I use CC all the time and always let it do it's thing. Roboform protects all my logins.

Lynda44, I use it quite regularly, weekly to clean out cache, prefetch, etc. Handy to run after installs and uninstalls to clean out the registry of redundant entries.

Thanks Frogy. Do you use Roboform like Bogie suggested? I think I'll give that a try too.

A great program. I run it every time I go off the web. Am I missing much by de-selecting : Delete Index.dat files, Auto complete form history, Windows log files, and all
Advanced?

Go to Options, Cookies and add any cookies that you want kept to the "Cookies to Keep" list. Make sure to do this before running the cleaner, all new cookies on your system will be displayed on the left.
