Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Hey everyone,

Just got off playing the PC Demo for this game and all i gotta say is: AWESOME!!!

This game is a mix of the Hot Pursuit and Underground games. Blacklist is similar to "going underground" but in this version you gotta get a rap sheet, be noticed and win races. This mode is not available on the demo.

One of modes I played in which the cops chase you and chase you, the music is awesome, its like a car chase music in the movies, it definetly gets the adrenaline pumping.

There is another mode where you race and there are photo radar points throughout the map. You have to go as fast as you can through those points and the speed is added up at the end of the race and the person with the highest total speed wins.

I recommend anyone who likes the Need for Speed series to definetly download this demo.

Yep downloaded the demo and played it today.

Great game. Graphics look great!

Good to see NFS if going back to it's roots with the cop chases. Loved it back in Hot Pursuit.

Theres also this great feature that you can use, i forgot the real name, but its great. It slows down everything around you so you can make a sharp turn. Kind of like a Matrix meets Clockstoppers move...

justed played it that was probly the best NFS game i have played ever i manged to evade to the cops for 13 minutes then i got boxed in and aressted

Graphics are good, but its the same gameplay as Underground 1 and 2. Handling is NOTHING like previous nfs games, too bad :(

Hey cam124,

So how is the game? My question is when you upgrade your vehicle, can you buy any part you want as long as you got the money or is it like underground 1, where they unlock certain parts and different intervals of the game?

Also how much did you buy it for and where? Did you get the Black Edition?

Basically you unlock parts as well as buy them as long as you can afford them. Like Underground 2.

Here is a pic from the DEMO, I was able to last from the cops for about 16min!! it was pretty good to bad the cops in this game are kind dumb at times, lol.


How long has everybody else lasted when the cops are after you??

I bought the Black Edition yesterday at Best Buy for the PC, they have it on sale for $10 less until Nov 20. Price including taxes was $57.49...gonna install today. Also came with a bonus dvd which shows behind the scenes stuff.

Supposedly this is the 10th Need for Speed game!

what is the difference between Black Edition and just normal edition. I saw the game yesterday at Wal-Mart and it is 4CDs!

I got the PS2 version of the game because I have better control driving versus keyboard beside the nagging of everyone living with me about volume and me sitting on the PC way too long. I might get the PC version and play it on my laptop

looks great and not worth the money if you have played the others.

its got all the same flaws as the last 3 games of this name.

last time i checked its hard to go around a turns at 180 at a perfect 90 degree angle, most of us tend to not be able to break the laws of nature...lol.

For once it would be nice to see them get rid of all the flaws and then put out the game rather then put it out before just to bump up the quater profits.

Still theres much worse ones out there to spend your money on but not the kind of dough this one wants.
