Why are you looking for the USB drive, just out of curiosity?

Because supposedly you can charge your phone through your USB port.. as it states in the manual.. but with no driver.. phone does not charge.....:rrg:

So far its worked out for me. I've had no trouble with it, I like the how thin it is, how loud it can ring, the style of the phone and the big screen. :)

Your supposto have gotten an ac power adapter that has one end plugged into the wall outlet and the other end into your phone to charge your phone. It clearly states in the manual that you Can't charge your phone using your computer's usb ports.
Although You can use your phone to plug into a usb port or bluetooth to communicate with your computer - to sync with a lot of the phone features provided you have the software cd or other appropiate tools, you can't use your computer's usb port to charge your phone.

Not true - if you have the driver installed, the phone will charge via USB. It's the same connection.

Although It says that it can't in the manual, Motorola technical support, varified with multiple resources pointed out that it can with or without software although the charge will not be as quick than the minicharger/mini usb that came with the phone, it does, from motorola as a direct resource it does work but apparently not very well.
