download accelerator Plus 7.4?

Anyone have any experience with this program (the non-advertisment version)? Just wondering if it really works and if it's worth downloading.

its just a program that downloads the same file off of multiple servers at once. therefore not maxing out one servers speed. so it is a bit faster . not much tho

It’s OK if you use a Dial-up Internet Connection. The best feature is the RESUME as if for some reason you were unable to complete your Download, you simply click on RESUME & it continues from where it left off. No need for this program if you have a HI-SPEED Internet connection.

I use download accelerator not so much for the speed but for the fact that I can send the downloaded file(s) to my virus scanner and have it scanned before I run it.

I know it's the company saying this but the website says it makes downloads for people with high-speed faster.....just wondering if it's worth downloading

I'm on Rogers Hi-Speed and I haven't noticed any significant difference in speed.
