I am in the process of trying a free 10 day trial of World of Warcraft. I am quite impressed with it. My only complaint about it is that you level up too fast. Thats right, too fast :P
I guess I am used to playing games for more hardcore players such as Lineage2, Everquest2, which take alot longer to level up, and I like it.
Anyways, I do find WoW to be alot more fun compared to these other games though. You can get alot more done in alot less time, which is good becuase I dont' have as much time to play games as I used to.

If you think you're leveling too fast, try Dungeons And Dragons Online when it comes out. Takes forever to get 1 level as it tries to follow the DND rules as closely as possible.
But then again, since it's made by Turbine, it might just tank.
WoW leveling takes more time as you level.

What I do like about WoW is how is the graphics. In screen shots they look pretty cartoony, but I really, really like them while actually playing the game. Plus I can run it at 1650x1080 at full settings on my laptop :)
I also love how it can minimize via Alt+tab instantly which is great for when I get bored at work :P

Uhhh.... enchanting... I'm learning to hate that profession. I'm lvl300 enchanter and quite fed up with it. But because I also have quite rare enchantments like Crusader and +22intellect, I can't drop it. But it's a pain having to explain to everyone what I can/can't do and have to travel to meet face-to-face. Lately I started selling my enchantment materials instead of saving them up for guild-mates. Tons of cash to be made. :)

Alchemy FTW! :P
Uhm... Level 11 and you think leveling is too fast? *Snickers*
Anyways, if you are going to stay with the game, Tailoring / Enchanting isn't that great for the reasons Exmortis stated. I'm the same thing, and it doesn't make you much money at all. On our server, Herbalism / Alchemy is money. Hell, a Black Lotus on our server goes for 15-20G! I hate it, Ill see them and think... Damnit, if I were a flower sniffer, I'd just have made 15-20G.
There's no shortage of Enchanters / Tailors on our server, and most things don't go for much these days.
I'm starting to level an Orc Warlock, and I'm farming Tyr's Hand with my Mage for Gold.
Good luck Jack if you choose to stay with the game, it's hellafun. For me, the game started at level 60 (Took less than 2 months to level there).

Where do you get the free trial?
I received a free trial serial number a while back from Blizzard as part of the "recruit a friend" campain. I can give it to you if you want. I get a free month if you decide to sign up. :)

compared to many games, even in the high levels, with WoW, you do kind of level fast. But thats not a bad thing, I like it. But soon, the level cap will raise, and everyone will be leveling again, to 70.
