I'm trying to locate some vinyl dye or paint,
But can't seem to find it anywhere. I found
some rather drab colours at Canadian Tire,
But I'm looking for Red, Blue and Yellow.
Most other places I've been to don't even
know what I'm talking about.

What are you attempting to paint? There may be alternatives to paint that will work just as well on vinyl. A better idea as to what you are trying to paint would certainly help.

Paint supplier. Vinyl paint has been available for 40 years, most people just don't know that. RIM, CIL, other suppliers, just might find what you're looking for.

Just some I've heard of. I used it in the early 60's, for the interior of "NEW" cars. George. :)

What you are looking for is not in fact a vinyl paint but one that will adhere to plastic. An enamal paint should do that rather well and last for some time to come. Just remember with enamals, that you may need many very light...almost dust like coats for best performance. Time and patience is the key here. Light coat and just before its dry, apply another light coat. Dont rush it or you will have a mess. Just check with some place like Home Depot and let them know you are wanting to paint on a plastic bezel and they should be able to help you if they know their paints.
Just dont go with a lacquer based paint as it will eat the plastic.

Krylon makes a goof proof plastic paint, worked well on my old canoe.
You can get it most places that sell paints, including Home Depot.

You hit the nail on the head so to speak.
