Remember Passwords?

In Windows XP Home Edition I used to be given the option of saving passwords but now I'm not given that option. Is there some box I can check off to have that ability again?

What do you mean by "passwords"?
Like for websites that require them?
If so, that is not a function of Windows, but rarther 3rd party programs like Roboform.

Or do you mean for things like email accounts or dial-up Internet?

I think this may be what you are looking for.
In Internet Explorer, click on Tools from the menu bar.
Then click on the Content tab.
Then click the Auto Complete tab. Once in there make sure the "Prompt me to save passwords" box is checked.
