512mb of ram isn't what it use to be, if you can afford it you'd be much smarter to go with 512x2

If you are doing any gaming, I would have to agree. Either 512X2 or just a single 1gig ram chip(probably cheaper)...make sure its a brand name ram like Kingston...lifetime warranty.

Would this be fine:

And is 'named' memory that much better than no name?
