I'm on the net & I get these messages that pop up how can I fix it is it a Microsoft Security problem? I ran ad-aware & Spybot so I'm fine there but what is this?

That looks like windows messenger spam.
To disable it, go to start>run>services.msc>look for windows messenger> right click it> properties> disable. Then close it. That should stop those popups.

It is definitely Windows messenger spam (keep in mind that Windows messenger is not the same thing a MSN Messenger)
Follow DreamLord's instructions and that should solve the problem.

Ok I went there & disabled my profile1, also stoped the startup so I hope this works, I know my antivirus is upto date so thats not a problem.

Well so far so good, I also removed windows messanger from my computer cuz I have a messanger removol tool so I just have msn messanger 7.5 runninng. Man I thought it was a virus sheesh! :)

it's not msn messenger ... it's a different animal :)
network Admins use the Windows messenger to send memo's to workstations
but it's been exploited .. so it's best to just turn it off from Services

When I went to start>run>services.msc (which is control panel/admin tools) I just found messanger & disabled profile1 cuz windows mwssanger was removed from me before, now I dont get those stupuid messages anymore, donno why they do those messages... :rrg:
