The first vhs that I did came out perfectly, since then the next 3 attempts have been with the audio and video out of sync.

I emailed tech help and got an answer but not having any luck with their suggestions. To me, I have everything the way they say.

Can someone help please.. don't need any more coasters LOL

First thing I have seen this before with mine.
The thing is they run hot you will need to use a small fan to cool it down.
I have modded mine and put a heatsink and fan in side. (you wont need to do that)
Second I have found that adding chapters with the capwiz program can cause
out of sync problems.
I use nero vision express to add chapters and menus etc.
Third if your source video is from tape and has many drop outs this can cause
sync problems.
With this problem I capture the show in parts then use nero to put
it all back together.

One last thing in the capwiz settings use VBR (variable bit rate)
instead of CBR (constant bit rate) see if that helps.
