New phone is a Motorola V186m on Pay as you Go plan.
1. Phonebook entries can be saved to the sim card or to the phone. Which is preferable & why.
2. I have a 80 kb wma file that I downloaded from somewhere a few weeks ago. It's supposed to be a ringtone, does the size and file type seem like it would actually work? Is the file size within reason? It is 17 seconds long so should I trim it?
3. The phone has a USB connection; do I just hook it up & wait for it to show as a removable disk? Do I just copy the file to the removeable disk or do I have to do something within the phone's setup to download a ringtone?
The manual is very brief and seems to expect the user to be a little more knowledgeable that we are. Thanks to all, again!
