postal Code convertor

Hi,
In my website, I ask the user to enter their postal code. Is there a way for me to convert the postal code to area name. For example to richmond Hill, or maybe in the US to BeverlyHills.

Even if there was...I wouldn't trust it...plus that would mean you would have to do a live lookup at Canada Post which means more lag and loadtime for the enduser.

well I came across this site which seems to have what I want. I just have to import their information into my database. 800,000 records for canada alone :S
