While not advocating warez, people might also want to look at how some folks used XPlite to make some rather decent Windows builds, minus the kaka.

Hi. I just now bumped into this site and this thread when doing a Yahoo Search. I thought I would drop in to update that link for you. There has been a domain change.

Your site looks interesting. Is this part of a computer-talk radio show? I really like the name you've chosen "Computer Mechanics".

The Computer Mechanics (a.k.a. TCM) has a tv show on Rogers Cable. If I recall, the broadcast is based out of Oshawa, Ontario and there should be available copies of the recent shows which can be downloaded via Bittorrent.

There are lots of people here with a variety of skill sets willing to help with almost any problem you might encounter. There are also some marvelous kibbitzers. I prefer to be lumped in the latter category, but rumours exist that I work both sides well.

Welcome and enjoy.

Thanks, Just Doug. Bluvertigo PM'd me a link to information about the show.

I've been looking through threads here on the site today, and it sure looks like a nice place with lots of helpful folk. Very glad I bumped into it.

But I like my kakas. :nde:
If you read the guide, the author is not actually an XPLite fan...and understandably so.
It's a damn long read. It's definitely not a one day job.

...And if you read as slow as I do, you definately got a problem.

I do have the Guide broken down into PARTS. You can stop and take a break now and then using it this way.
