I know this was answered on the board before but message not in search.
How do I get rid of message that's attached to every incoming e-mail.
AVG 7.0

From the AVG Control Centre, Select Email Scanner, Plugins, Configure, and uncheck the appropriate box.

Open Control Center > E-mail Scanning > Properties > Configure.

There you can check or uncheck that message for incoming or outgoing messages.

From there you can also click on details and you can customize that message too :)

I think you would have to go into email scanner then properties, configure and uncheck certify mail

I want the mail checked, just don't want the message on the bottom.
It attaches it and my inbox looks like every e-mail has an attachment.

I see in the configure,
there is a box for check incoming mail - checked
and a box for certify mail - checked

This certify mail, I'm guessing that is the puppy I should uncheck.
Now to try it.

Yep, you got it now... :D

Don't know why it's in the form of an attachment though... that's odd...

I thought that was strange too. I tried the free version a year or 2 ago and it was just added to the bottom of the e-mail.
This one adds it as an attachment.
Every e-mail has one.
Go figure.

it's like a signature .. personally I kinda liked the idea that the people see that it was scaned first.
not using AVG any more

Every one of your incoming e-mails has one, right? Or are you saying that the ones you send to people have it as an attachment too?

What E-mail client are you using? it might be a setting.... like 'view signatures as an attachment' or something like that. ;)

Happened with both OE and Pocomail.
Attached to text messages incoming.

Screenshot of a few text messages in inbox.

Not to worry now, turned off certification and no more attachments.

Hi Andy, this is a test for http://www.thecomputermechanics.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5231#post5231

Is there a certification at the bottom from AVG and does it show as an attachment?

Now that's weird.
I have certify checked on out going mail.
Shouldn't AVG have added their sig on the bottom saying it been scanned?
