blackparticle only has 1 post and this was it. I do hope that if he wins he'll be back to pick next weeks topic.

If feel compelled to tell you (like you could stop me), that I voted for Marsher even though blackparticle's picture was more appealing.

If someone is a self-confessed professional, I must apply a weighted value to my selection.

I'm only sorry I didn't vote in the original pole, then this tie-breaker would not be necessary.

I voted for myself (yes I'm biased) in the first poll and for marsher in this one. I still feel mine should have won first time around. Then we wouldn't be here now. http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Tantrum.gif

Easy boy, let's be gracious in defeat. ;)

If the assumption that Blackparticle is a professional is just coming from the fact that he has his picture copywrited.. that may not be a fair assumption, I know many people who mark there photos to help prevent others from claiming them.

That was the rational of my position. :)

Wow, uhh, sorry for all assumptions... I'm not a professional photographer, though that comment alone is flattering. :mbx: I'm just a university student (computer engineering :) ) struggling through exams right now...(hence the eng.uwaterloo website in the sig)

I used to be more active a few years ago, but through the server crashes, database resets, university, etc, etc, I just didn't find my way back until I was surfing through my bookmarks the other day... hence that was recorded as my "first" post.

I guess I'll refrain from those watermarks to protect my image if everyone here is against it...

Sorry for all the trouble.

No trouble at all.

At the time I was unaware of both your age and your scholastic level.

Keep 'em coming. :)

It's not a problem Black Particle... keep your watermarks as they are.
We know you're no more a pro than anyone else here :)
