Kelsey Grammer as Beast? Well at least he is in it this time, as well as Angel, and hopefully more Colossus.
has links to a teaser trailer, all in quicktime, even though some say various formats, it's not true.

Kelsey Grammer looked good as Beast in the trailer.

The original writer/director of X-Men 1 and 2 left to do Superman Returns. The general feeling among fans isn't good about X3 to carry on the story with the same intensity and character development. Hopefully, the new guy is just as good.
Pfft "fans" yeah right.
i think it will be just as good as the first two.

Well, when you lose the primary story writer, you just hope he left his notes behind for the next guy to continue the intended story. But that did not happen. We'll have to see how it'll go.

Are you sure? i thought i read that the last director did have some input.
From the trailer and the content of the movie story wise looks very promising. But i know people will always flip out when a series changes producers. I think xmen 3 wil lbe really good though.
I would have liked if they put it off and waited for Singer but the direction the story is going and from what i have seen so far it looks great.

...Kelsey Grammer as Beast? ...
Sounds suitable.
In the Marvel comics and tv cartoons,
Beast was more or less a brain and Kelsey Grammar did act as a psychiatrist for years in Cheers and Frasier.

Bryan Singer left the franchise to do "Superman Returns" and was replaced by Brett Ratner. His background mostly involves comedies although he did work on the pilot of "Prison Break". So hopefully we won't see a too dramatic shift in style. The X-Men series have a terrific story and it's been moving along fine.
