Ok to say this movie sucked would be a compliment. I am a HUGE horror fan, I love them so much that when I heard this movie was the "scariest since the orginial Texas Chainsaw Massacre" of course I had to see what the hype was about. First it took a good (bad) hour to get to the point of the movie, too much talking and traveling in a car sort of gave it a 'Jeepers Creepers' kind of feel to it, after they finally got captured I thought "great maybe something gross will happen" well no such luck, they were captured, one escaped and the movie ended http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Wonder.gif the music sounded like it was ripped from the first Texas Chainsaw soundtrack however but that is the only thing that I could compare it to. I don't know how anyone could say this movie was scary .. I've seen Raptor games that were scarier then this movie, I'm giving it 1 out 10

Yeah, I was expecting... well, anything when I saw this movie. It was terrible. The characters couldn't have done things more stupidly.

(*spoilers*) Why the hell did they push the truck off the cliff then try to get another one? Why did the girl rummage through the tapes and such when she got back to his damn house (if you can call it that)? The guy got away so easily, it was dumb. They all had a chance to survive, this movie just makes Australians look stupid (not saying they are ;)).

Anyways, there was nothing good about this movie, it was crap. There wasn't even any killing in it, nor anything scary.

I am a HUGE horror fan

Go see "Hostel".. ;) Then again, they might have tone down the film a lot since the screening at the Toronto Film Festival. Might be better on DVD...:rrg:

Pointless Waste of time movie

SPOILERS
Anyway here's a few assumptions on your questions
they pushed the truck over b/c the guy was chasing them in his car, if they get rid of the truck, he might think they're long gone.
As for the tapes etc. not sure on that....figured she wanted to know who else had been victims?

Overall, not worth watching.
