TLC or chuck it?

My Mom has a red poinsetta that has drooped like it's near death. I want to know if it's past the salvation point...I think she's kept it too close to the window .... it's leaves are all drooped but,not discoloured! It isn't dry(the soil) either.:rrg:

Gee, thanks Neal...Ive mounted it upon pebbles to drain,trimmed off the really bad leaves and am going to wait and see...about all I can do now!
