Have lost Internet Explorer

I don't know how I lost my Internet Explorer (inadvertantly for sure).
I am using Windows Xp which was installed with my HP purchase.
and Futureshop never gave me a CD, as most info is installed
under 'help or search'. but I can't find Internet Explorer there.
Have 512 MB 2.0GH.
I may have to purchase an installation but have never used
credit cards over the internet and am skeptical about doing so.
I'm almost certain that some of you clever gals and guys will be
able to resolve this problem for me. p.l.e.a.s.e. !!!

You can always try reinstalling IE6. Download can be found here. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ie6.html
