I've been waiting for this movie to come out. Loved the original and would love to see what Tim Burton has done on this version. Pretty busy though right now, hopefully I can get it in within the next few weeks.

Really? I saw the previews alot in the last few weeks, at the theatre, and it made me cringe.. what a load of you know what. What would make an adult be interested in that? I'm curious. My fellow movie-goers all let out a basic 'cr*p' when the preview ended. :) What makes that movie good?
well it was a kid movie
the reason i wanted to see it was because i remember reading the book when i was younger.
Plus i am 18, do not call me an adult LOL

Lol Adam. Ok, I understand it is a 'flight of fancy' kind of movie. And an adventure in the 'wonderland' genre. :) Not my cup of tea.

I just wish they would stop doing remakes of remakes or just bringing up crap we saw before with a bit more bang to it.same old plot but look theres a nudescene in it? They need to get more original...

Indeed Byteme. Nothing original anymore. Look at the biggest movie of the summer. WOTW. Gee. Didn't know how that would turn out. :) A few FX, and people flock. (I did too). But I thought it stunk. Where oh where is that 'WOW' movie? Something new, something we have no idea the story of, that leaves you feeling like you didn't waste your money at the end? And they wonder why downloads are up, and revenue is down? I'll tell you, I saw 4 movies in the theatre this summer, and I was upset with 3 of them.
P.S.. The last 'WOW' movie I saw was the original Jurrasic Park.
i assume your a hard person to please. The movie industry is pretty amazing. Just look at them, movies are fantastic. But yeh the are redoing many old movies which is getting old.
The last good movie was The Matrix (the first one, not the others). That was new, wicked, cool and yet to be topped.
