From Thumbnail pic to full size?

I notice that most of the pics here can be viewed almost full size.

Can someone please explain how this is done?

The pics in full size/view are hotlinked from a site such as Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/).

You have to register for Photobucket.
If you don't want to register, there are others.
In the good morning thread, I use http://www.imageshack.us
Just upload your picture or image and copy/paste the link
