Has anyone here been able to keep fresh spinach for more than three or four days.....I use it in salads and it seems to always "break down" so quickly.I've looked it up and I already do what they suggest! Just thought that maybe someone here had a little kitchen magic.
Not me either. I love spinach but rarely buy it because of that.
When I do, I use it in salads, as a side boiled, or take a couple of slices of bacon and piece it, fry it up, add the fresh spinach to the bacon in the frypan, then some garlic, salt and pepper to taste and cook it down.

I am able to keep it sometimes longer than a week , fresh, but this is straight from the garden/market spinach, not grocery store. I clean it as soon as I get it and then keep it in a plastic container ready for salads, etc.
