screen savers

I also am having a problem getting my screen saver to come on when my emac is idle... I have chosen the forest.... it is set for 15 minutes, but what happens is my screen will go black before the screen saver comes up..

any help would be appreciated...

Check the Energy Saver preference panel. It is probably defaulted to dim the display sooner than when your screen-saver kicks in.

I went in and changed the setting and set my dim up to 1 hour.
