Just doing a personal website to advertise myself. I am usign Frontpage XP to create it, it is just in initial stages of attaching various pdf's to hyperlinks. When I "Preview in Browser," everything works with Firefox the default browser, but when I "Preview in Browser" using IE 6.0, one pdf will not open - it is only 758 KB large and a 574 KB pdf opens without any problems - well IE first gives me the warning "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer, click here for options" so when I click and Allow Blocked Content, all the other pdfs open properly. As I mentioned everything works when I Preview with Firefox. The only thing that occurs with the larger pdf is a white screen with a square in the top corner with a red square, blue circle, and green triangle in it.

I can't publish it yet, but is there an option I am missing on why IE will not open a small 758 KB pdf? I deleted the hyperlink and re-attached it a couple of times and no change with IE.

Thanks.

I haven't heard of this before, but I would think that it has something to do with the preview mode in FP. Do you have any other PDF files open at the same time when trying to view the 758 KB file?

Nope. Just that one.

Nope. Just that one.

Are you testing this in the preview mode of FP or from the actual browser?

Sorry for the long wait before responding, been crazy busy. Switched to Dreamweaver, uploaded it, and it works fine. Have to do a lot of cosmetic fixes, and still waiting for grad photos, but thanks for your help.
