Hi there,

I am using Sympatico HSE (SpeedStream modem) and have 3 desktops connected via a Linksys NH1005, 5 port 10/100 hub.
I have just purchased a Trendnet TEW-431BRP 802.11g wireless router for use with my laptop.
Can I plug the wireless router into the hub and use this just for my laptop without problems? Is there something special I will have to do?
The reason I am not going to use just the router for all computers is my wife is convinced I will mess up her internet access when I am learning to configure it :rrg:

Any assistance is much appreciated!!

Burt :)

Yes, you can hook it up that way... and it might be a good idea to do it that way while you 'play' with it.
But once you know what you're doing with it, I'd highly recommend using it instead of the hub... primarily for the NAT firewall that a router will provide ;)
