Macs don't make me any money...

Most of the Mac people here know that I'm envious and would love to have a dual G5 :D

Does a G5 allow you to drive a tank or something?

It certainly allows you to spend three times as much on a computer, while sacrificing compatibility with many common applications. Yay macs!! :p

Don't you guys get tired of defending against the same old anti-mac lies over and over? Some will never get it...

I'm looking at getting a mini-MAC for my daughter as her PC needs have changed quite a bit over the last two years.

Tim and CoC... time for me to at least smell that Cupertino kool-aid. :D

An illusory sense of what a PC that technically competes with a MAC costs perhaps?

I guess someone forgot getting blown out of the sky the last time they tried this approach.

Personally I can't be bothered with those idiots any more, both here and in the Linux forum, I just ignore them.

The really sad part is it is usually the same idiots...and the same tired old arguments that were discredited long, long ago.

So if the Mac people simply don't respond to these people, then maybe they would stop trying to get under your skin...
It's only fun for them if they get a reaction ;)
I believe the saying is "Don't Feed the Trolls" :tooths:

that's why my replies tend to be sarcastic.

It is amazing how stupid some people continue to be.

The basic argument is flawed when any one says the a MAC is more money than a PC. A MAC is a personal computer and a business system can often have the same config as a home system. Both boxes can work either way. All PC's have that potential. Maybe being older isn't as bad as kids think. :D

Moving to Mac was the best thing I ever did...imagine a world without crashes! Another good thing about the move is that I finally know the real meaning of PC..pretty crappy! :nke:

Good stuff, man! :)

So, I was in Switzerland for a week. Just got back last night. What a great break from the routine -- and NO NEWS!! Yet, I didn't die from a lack of it, either. TCM board crashed... London bombings... and the beat goes on.

wow Switzerland!
We had thought of flying to London then Berlin but the wife wasn't able to get enough time off. Seems like that was a real good idea as we planned to arrive the day before the bombs.
So just got back from a safe cottage.
