View Full Version : ATTN Gamers!!! Advise needed!!!

Hi all, as the title states Iam looking for some advice on a good PC game to buy.

I am not what you would call a gamer, but I have played the odd game. The only real game I have played all the way through is Mafia and that is the type of game I enjoy.

The game does not have to be new or state of the art, just entertaining and must be able to run on my lappy, see sig for lappy specs.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice. :)

if you enjoy first person shooters. you should get half life 2 or F.E.A.R.. 2 really good games :D

If you want an mmorpg get wow.

And if you like strategy games get warcraft 3 and the expansion set, VERY addictive.

Far Cry is a good game and can be had for $20.00. I just finished it tonight. First time through, take the easy level.

Hahahaha lappy.... yeah i dont know what mafia is like but i always loved the command and conquer series, Personally Red Alert 2 was my favourite.

Only hardcore gamers have the time to play mmorpgs... he's more of a casual gamer looks like.

Seems like you like strategy games. "Civilizations" is great, Age of Empires..
If you liked Mafia, Grand Theft Auto is wicked, Can probably pick up one of the Max Paynes super-cheap...

yea, check out wal-mart, they usually have packs with 5 games in it for 19.99 there not new or anything just fun and cheap!!

Thats what I did, went for the cheap bundle. Picked up the Ubisoft Action-Adventure Collection for $19.99 from FS. Comes with 3 games:

Splinter Cell
Prince of Persia; Sands of Time
Beyond Good & Evil

Loving them so far, thanks to all those who replied.
