dde server window not responding

hi there: seems everytime i try to shut down, i get an error with this heading "dde server window not responding" so then i have to end task...any idea why this is coming up...i dont remember downloading this program..thanks

How to get multiple views and NO responses:
Do NOT mention OS in use,
Do NOT mention applications usually used when source of issue arises,
Do NOT mention when and circumstances just prior to issue starting...


If applicable,
Take a look in the Event Viewer for source of issue.

also is this a stand alone or is it connected to a LAN
are you having a problem with your Printer or any other hardware that is connected to the machine
please post your Operating Software

ok sorry about that, im operating windows 98, and usually this probably happens when i have to shut down

Windows98/98 SE does not have Event Viewer so,
Hit Ctrl + Alt + Del to check running processes...
