This is cool software! No KVM required.

"Desktop Rover (http://www.neslosoftware.com/default.aspx?pageid=2) allows you to control up to 32 computers (and now Pocket PCs) with a single computer's keyboard and mouse. By positioning each computer's monitor next to (or above or below) each other, you can use each computer as if it was part of a single virtual desktop. You simply move the mouse from one computer to the next and the keyboard focus follows the mouse to that computer."

Thanks Lockergnome (http://channels.lockergnome.com/it/) for this link/info!

oh boy I have enough trouble keeping one computer working lol.

sounds interesting just think of the mouse travel time with 32 comps.

Just think of the power consumed by those 32 pcs! I'll stick with KVMs, I have more computers than monitors. :)

The idea is to control multiple computers as virtual desktops (or like multiple monitors) where you can drag and drop files, run multiple programs, etc. I guess like an Operations Centre. Doesn't have to be 32, could be 4, for example. The user would be able to harness the power of 4 PCs at once, for multi-tasking without the processing impact on a single computer. You could play against yourself in online/network games :D

I can see how it might be useful for some people but not for me. It's not cheap and it's Windows only. :)
