well i guess my question has two parts

1. building a website people will be interested in? generate profit? has anyone done it on this site? besides this site....

2. what is the payoutput on google ads?

believe me i am so far away from even attempting something like this, just want some discussion

I visit another board that has google ads and I don't mind them one bit. I can say exactly as to what they pay though.

I see a lot of websites that have Google Ad's. General response is safe n easy. What they pay I have no idea and how to build a popular website, not a freakin idea!

haha, really only 2 replies..

that means two things

1. either no one uses google ads
or
2. no one knows how to properly build a site that gets attention and drives traffic to their site and in conclusion..............tcm is more for general design of webpages than $$$ making.

lol

Well I use Google AdSense on all my sites and - lets just say I'm happy with the service.

Volume is the key to any marketing or online money-making effort.

Whether it be Google Ads, affiliate programs, click-throughs, etc., if your website does not have thousands of views then the income is minimal to none.

In other words, don't count on it to but that new car you want.

It should be considered into an overall income generation plan that involves different aspects of what you are promoting.

Sign up for Google Ads, but work on getting traffic to your website(s) through interesting content, broad target audience, etc. Don't expect a cheque for awhile.

As far as what type of content to create - your choice - do your own research into what is available already online, and, most importantly, what is not. Is there a market for it?

Do a Google search for site ideas that you might have. If one turns up thousands of legitimate hits, then my suggestion is to forget that topic and find another. No use use fighting 124,682 websites for top positioning and garnishing market-share.

Pay-outs depend totally on you, your site topic, interest in that topic, and traffic generated overall.

If anyone and everyone here could easily make a profitable website,
a) we would all be running much better computers
b) Google would be bankrupt in 6 months.

I've seen a lot of sites that support them self and their owners have no other income but they draw 100,000 visitors a day if not more. It does depend on content on how many visotirs you need to turn a priofit. Don't expect to be able to throw up a site and rake in the cash. People though that a few years ago and we now refer to that as the Dot Com crash.
"If you build it, they will come." doesn't really apply on the web.

Then you have people like me that have set their browser up to block all Google ads as I find them an annoyance. ;)
