digital camera question

If the camera has an added memory card, can pics be sent to the camera for storage from the pc or no?
Just curious.

I know of cameras that don't support putting pictures BACK on to the memory card from the PC, but if you ahve a card reader/writer you can do it.

mostly yes, the memory card can be used as storage for any files, not just pictures

Ok, I plugged the camera back into the pc and opened it's corresponding folder. I tried to copy pics from the "my pictures" folder to the camera's but no luck.

I have been writing files (including pics) to my Compact Flash for years. I have been using an PCMCIA adapter in my laptop. Works great for me!
