For those of us who grew up in the 50's & 60's and who watched The Munsters & Car 54 Where Are You have just lost a wonderful actor. Al Lewis the cigar chomping actor passed away at the age of 95.

I bought the volumes on CD and watched all of them not long ago. I grew up with the Munsters on black and white T.V. This is truly a sad day in my life. All the great character actors of the 50's and 60's are fading away. Painful.
I was searching threw the micro fiche of old newspapers in the Vancouver library in the mid nineties and found a few articles regarding Yvonne De Carlo. She was from Vancouver. The paper even gave her address in Vancouver. When she was returning from Hollywood filming a motion picture. Can you imagine today if they gave out your home address after filming a movie.
Oh well .. just thought I'd pass that tid bit on, in case anyone wants to go to the library in Vancouver and look that up.
