Slideshow for flash

I have done a slideshow using photgraphs .How do I insert controls Play, stop. and to run automatic?. I want the controls to be on the actual picture.

my suggestion is to go to www.actionscript.org , and spend a couple hours doing the basic tutorials on actionscript. Trying to explain that from the bottom up is a little extensive.
