With the addition of the Intel chips to the MacBooks and IMac, what else is due out for Mac's?

Reason I ask, i'm in the market within the coming months for a laptop intended for shool use and am really interested in a Mac laptop.

I'm not sure what else to ask or what else information to provide...so...the more information I can gather from this thread the better...

it's important to know what you intend to do with the laptop. Certain things like audio for instance, one might consider a PPC version as audio will slowest to adapt to the intel. Graphics, will be fine generally on intel as it'll run under rosetta fine.

I hear the iMacs will get a refresh when the new conroe processors from Intel come out.
