Question about Tunner cards

I have a tuner card(ati wonder pro tuner) and i don't think i like the software it came with. Am i able to use other software with this card? If so could you recomend some other types i could use.....I would like software that is good for capture....

Yes, you can use other software with it, you just have to check the software for compatibility. That card is a software encoder, so your choice may be limited. The good news, though, is that most programs have a trial or demo so you can try it out and see if it does what you want. When you say you are especially looking at capture, is that tv capture, or other video?

This is just a start - but I again emphasize - check the compatibility. I'm pretty sure Beyond TV supports that card, but I'm not sure about GB-PVR for instance.
If you're looking for other video capture than tv (not necessarily mutually exclusive with those programs), other programs, even MS MoveMaker will capture from the card.

They have several products that work great with the ATI TV Wonder, TV Wonder VE and TV Wonder Pro. Most of the products are available as a 30 day trial.

They've got TV / PVR software as well as just regular capture software to transfer from VHS to DVD.
