URGENT! Fire at Animal Sanctuary.

For all the animal lovers out there and able to give some help, the Second Chance Wildlife just had a fire with a lot of damage and loss of life, and are looking for any help they can get.

The sanctuary is run by an elderly women and is just north of Pickering.

We adopted a siamese who was abused and I tell you animals know when you reach out to them. He has become one of the most loving cats I know of even though humans beat and almost starved him to death.

Thanks Ko9 for giving a happy ending to such a sad story.

It's people like you and the others who help rescue abused animals who make up for the few (hopefully) who treat animals as if they were just garbage.

The Animal Sanctuary is slowly starting to clean up, but there is a lot of work ahead. And this hot weather just made everything so much harder. There were a lot of cats with smoke inhalation problems, so there will be a lot of vet bills.

This fire started with an old air conditioner and old wiring.
