Runtime error winword.exe

I have Microsoft office XP installed, and it has worked fine for 2 years. Yesterday I installed Adobe Acrobat 7, which also works fine. But then I noticed when I double click to open my Word documents, I get:

Runtime error .... winword.exe The application has requestedthe runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

When I un-install Acrobat, Word works fine again. Any ideas? I need Acrobat too!

Acrobat full or the reader?

If it's the full version, try removing the PDF writer "printer". Other than that, you could try reinstalling office when acrobat is installed. (I'm just guessing here)
