GTA place to buy rims.
Can anyone recommend a good place to buy aftermarket rims? I need to start looking for some chrome 17"s for the spring...
Checked out "tooltyme" in Whitby and wasn't impressed, all he does is order from someone else, would rather cut out the middle man...
Don't want to order online since shipping is so expensive, and often get charged duty if going over the border...
Looking for something like these:

You've got a tall order there...
You don't want to buy from a retailer; you want a wholesaler... but most of them won't sell to the public...
Best deals you can get are online... just search for a Canadian distributor so you don't have to worry about duty.
I believe there's one such place in Vancouver that I know many have dealt with in the past... just don't remember the name of the place...
Good Luck :)

Some Firestone tire stores carry wheels, from American Racing etc.
I purchased a set of AR, Estrella wheels with Michelin Hydroedge tires mounted at a local speed shop only to find the same wheels at the tire store.
Even Canadian tire sells aftermarked wheels and rims from various manufacturers.

I don't have a tip, just a comment. Those sure are pretty. Bound to turn a few heads.

Yeah but as said most of these places are retailers, i.e. they have to order them from a supplier / wholesaler.

This post was from almost 2 yrs ago! I couldn't find those exact rims but I bough some 19s 2 springs ago. They're coming off soon to put my factory rims back on with the winter pirellis.

I wonder how much drive space all these threads take up? I mean, each one cant be more than a few hundred KB, but there are literally thousands of them.
