While doing this the clerk spots two penguins sitting on the back seat of the car.
He asks the driver, "What's up with the penguins in the back seat?"

The man in the car says, "I found them. I asked myself what to do with
them but, I haven't a clue."

The clerk ponders a bit then says, "You should take them to the zoo."
"Yeah, that's a good idea," says the man in the car and drives away.

The next day the man with the car is back at the same gas station.
The clerk sees the penguins are still in the back seat of the car.

"Hey, they're still here! I thought you were going to take them to the zoo!"

"Oh, I did," says the driver, "and we had a great time. Today I'm taking
them to the beach."

I want to access a couple of files that I backed up onto CD back in 2008 using Ghost 9. Since I run Windows 7 64 bit now, and since I hear that Ghost is no longer being supported, I don't use it anymore. I read somewhere that one way to access the files may be to download the 30 day trialware version of Ghost 15. So I tried to download it from Softpedia. I carefully unchecked all the stuff they push along with what I wanted. This included Visual Bee Toolbox, MS VisualStudio 2010 Tools..., Solid Swing, Optimizer Pro, Conduit? and 7 Zip. Fortunately I noted them along the way. The result was that all that junk downloaded and Ghost 15 did not. I have managed to uninstall all this junk but - be warned. Any suggestions?

So I'm in a neighbourhood where there's plenty of cats kicking around which I'm not a fan off...specifically, the cats roam around (they belong to some people in the neighbourhood) and they are coming into my backyard and leaving their droppings all over the place.

Also, they are urinating on my entrance door mat(just bought the bloody thing) and it now smells terrible. Other neighbours also say the cats in the area wreck the plants in the spring/summer by urinating on them...sigh.

I'm definitely not a cat person (love dogs tho) and other neighbours in the area are also getting fed up.

Shy of getting a dog, what can I do to repel these cats? I heard mothballs were recommended by others in the area say the cat owners are saying its poisonous and could harm the cats which takes this issue in a whole new direction...that I don't want to deal with...

I'm giving thought to buying a super soaker to spray the cats away.

Any suggestions?

In Dusseldorf, a Nazi themed spin on Wagner's opera, Tannhauser, got the hook after a single performance. People booed, walked out of the theater, many have demanded their money back and a few patrons had to seek medical attention(!) after sitting through some of it.

The moment I read the story, the song, "Springtime for Hitler and Germany" began to resonate in my mind. If the makes were trying to same fraud as Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, in the Mel Brook's classic, "The Producers", they obviously succeeded where their fictional counterparts failed.

Among some interesting tidbits: Electric guitar "machine guns" executing concentration camp prisoners; Naked 'junkies' walking around on stage; A chorus dressed up as rats; and the hero and his lover sailing away in a giant sanitary napkin to close the opera. (SERIOUSLY!!)

One of my HD's (an internal secondary drive) has been acting up and I get the feeling that that the registry may be corrupt. I did a file check for error and indeed a few personal files had issues, but nothing particularly interesting.

I can see and access all files on that HD... but ONLY in safe mode. A regular boot into Win 7 lists the drive - but it takes forever for volume information (used & available space) to appear. While Windows is trying to get the info on that HD, my system slows down to a crawl. I occasionally get to see the folders on the drive but attempting to open any of them fails. ie. It inevitably leads Windows Explorer to crash.

Is there an easy way to resolve this or do you think I might have to backup my data in and wipe that drive?

There is nothing *critical* on that wonky disk, but I am a bit of an amateur photographer and a lot of my images and my collection of documentaries are on that drive - so losing them would still be somewhat 'painful.'

I have downloaded the VLC player and downloaded the UTube movie which saved as mp4 but when I try to convert it to mp3 nothing
Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how I can accomplish what I set out to do? I am running Windows XP Pro SP 3.
