Thread: Malwarebytes question

  1. #1

    Default Malwarebytes question

I detected a trojan agent in a scan with Malwarebytes. It is in the quarantine window now but should I delete it? or keep it just to know the name and location? I'm virus crazy now after having been cut off by rogers 3 or 4 times. I scan my machine every day sometimes 3 times daily. Im so paranoid. i dont want to download anything like even winamp. Would winamp be safe? and things like cdburner xp?

Help me get my sanity back!

    and thank you
    Peter

If you are not sure, just leave it in quarantine for couple of days, then delete it, but you don't have to worry about deleting it right away.

    Thumbs up

Yes winamp would be safe as long as your downloading from the winamp website which is here...

I have not used cdburner xp so I can't comment on that.

    What antivirus are you using?
Also I never understood why Rogers is the only isp I have heard of that cuts off their customers because of a virus? Never seen isps like Teksavvy/bell/acanc do this.
