Avast 7 boot time

I just upgraded to Avast 7 through the internal updater. I time my startups on a regular basis, especially with the install of new software. Before the update startup was around 40 seconds from POST to desktop. After the update to Avast 7 startup is ranging from 1:05 to 1:15. I've rebooted and switched off the laptop several times to make sure this was not a one time occurrence. The longer startup times are consistent. Anyone else have this behaviour?

I have turned off the new Cloud services features, and still get the same result.

Lenovo T420 with enhanced experience 2.0
i5 2520-M
8 GB ram

May be the new Avast got bulkier...new stuff..there for more start up time
