    Default Program files (x86)

    hello,

I Just recently installed a new hard drive. and I was wondering if i can move my program files (x86) folder from my C drive to my new G drive without messing anything up. (want to move it, because everything seems to install their anyways. and i have this new HD that i would like to use) lol

is it as simple as drag and drop. or is there another way in doing so. if you can do it at all.

    thanks.

Nope, you can't do that. The files in there are only a small portion of what makes a program run. The other big piece is the registry, which you won't be copying over.

Laplink has software that is supposed to be able to do what you need. http://www.laplink.com/pcmover/

Never tried myself so cannot verify that it works and it also costs around $50.00 so it will depend how important the software is to you.
    Running Manjaro 0.8.6 64 Bit KDE 4.10.4
