Users of jail-broken iPhones are being warned of yet another piece of malware after the discovery over the weekend of a worm with the ability to steal online banking credentials.

The new 'Duh' malware is likely to be based on the original Ikee worm which was spread a couple of weeks ago by a young hacker in Australia. Both target jail-broken iPhones with OpenSSH installed and the default password intact.

A new form of attack that installs a rootkit directly onto a computer's Bios system would render anti-virus software useless, researchers have warned.

Alfredo Ortego and Anibal Sacco of Core Security Technologies explained that the attack is possible against almost all types of common Bios systems in use today.

New enhancements could boost collaboration

Adobe has updated its Acrobat.com hosted applications service with a new interface, and mobile access functionality designed to enhance user productivity and collaboration.

Acrobat.com is Adobe's online file organiser, office applications, PDF creation and web meeting tools. The firm said that it has incorporated over 35 features suggested by customers into the new version of the site.

Facebook is going after marketing firm uSocial, the company that claims to sell 'fans' on the popular social networking site to its customers for marketing purposes.

According to uSocial, which also sells Twitter followers and more recently started selling YouTube views, Facebook lawyers have sent a cease and desist warning to the firm.
